OLD TUCSON PHOTO GALLERY

Old Tucson is a charming recreation of the old 1860's wild west town of Tucson Arizona.

Old Tucson has been the filming location for literally hundreds of movies.

Old Tucson was originally built as the set for the 1940 film Arizona with Jean Arthur & Wm Holden.

The property doubles as a popular tourist attraction with movie set paraphernalia all around.

Libby and I standing in front of Grand Palace Hotel and Saloon.

Inside the Grand Palace Hotel and Saloon, show girls put on song and dance shows for visitors.

You can also belly up to the bar for a nice cool one!

There are various shows outdoors throughout the day, including wild west reenactments.

There's also a pretty good stuntman show and Libby was asked to participate!

After knocking the stuntman flat, she gave him a kiss to apologize.

I had an opportunity to mingle with the stars.

I also got a chance to play sheriff.

I spotted an old safe similar to the one we have at home and decided to remove the contents.

Oops! Caught red handed, I now had to face the gallows!

Remembering her old days showing horses, Libby tried to steal one and was shot!

There's a free mini-train ride around the grounds which runs on actual mini train tracks.

Here's Libby posing by a real old steam locomotive, the Reno, used in many old western movies.

We also took a ride in an authentic reproduction of an old stage coach.
I think we'll stick to the comfort of our own coach for our travels.

Natural beauty also abounds... here's a lovely grouping of cactus including the protected Saguarro.

The scenic mountain ranges around old Tucson are a big part
of the reason so many westerns were filmed here.
